Situated above the fog and below the snow, the Sierra Vista Community Center provides the perfect setting for community, business and private events. Built during the 1930s as part of the Depression Public Works program (WPA), the Sierra Vista Community Center maintains its original Art Deco design. Once used as the Colfax Elementary School, the building now houses a multi-purpose Community Center. Individual rooms offer plenty of rental space for businesses, special events, weddings, family affairs, and much more. 240 people can be accommodated, and plenty of parking is available along with a large outdoor space. Individual rooms are available for lease or for one time events.
Many have considered the Sierra Vista Community Center to be the community hub.
